CorelDRAW Graphics Suite Promo Video

Project overview

As a freelance Motion Designer, I created a promotional video for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite showcasing the range of tools and workflows available across CorelDRAW, CorelDRAW Web, and Corel PHOTO-PAINT.

The video moves through a variety of real-world design workflows, including vector illustration, multi-page layouts, typography, photo editing, PowerTRACE, and AI tools. CorelDRAW user artwork and custom AI-generated imagery were used throughout to show how these features could be applied across different types of creative work.

Process & Approach

I worked alongside a Creative Director to develop the concept and storyboard, with the freedom to determine how Corel's requested features could be brought together into one cohesive video. The Creative Director selected the CorelDRAW user artwork, while I created most of the imagery used to demonstrate the AI features.

As the sole Motion Designer, I was responsible for the full animation and production of the video. Rather than relying on screen recordings, I recreated the software interactions using vector and image assets. This allowed each workflow and UI interaction to be animated specifically for the video while keeping the focus on the artwork and features being demonstrated.

Results & Impact

The final video was used across Corel's 2026 CorelDRAW Graphics Suite marketing campaign, including the CorelDRAW website and product pages, YouTube, social media, and paid advertising.
