Brookstreet Hotel | Lumière Gala Logo 2025
The Challenge
Each year, Brookstreet Hotel hosts the Lumière Gala, a signature fundraising event supporting local healthcare. In 2025, the theme was Paris with the tagline “From Paris with Love.” My role, through Blackiron Agency, was to create a logo that captured the romance and artistry of Paris while aligning with the elegance of the evening.
The Approach
Working with my Creative Director, I developed several logo options ranging from bold graphic treatments to more hand-drawn, expressive designs. Together, we refined the direction, ultimately landing on a simple black-and-white mark that reflected both the timeless nature of Paris and the sophisticated tone of the gala.
The Solution
The final logo was clean, elegant, and versatile, making it easy for Brookstreet’s marketing and events team to apply across various platforms. It appeared on print materials, signage, and the website banner, tying the visual identity together throughout the event.
The Outcome
The 2025 Lumière Gala welcomed over 500 guests for a sold-out evening and raised more than $160,000 in support of the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation. While the décor brought Paris to life, the logo served as a unifying element, helping set the tone for an unforgettable night.
